Abstract

What could be the sacred author's reason for emphasizing the reality of the “exalted horn” at the end of Psalm 148? The answer to this question will lead to a deeper understanding of this prayer that links heavenly, earthly and subterranean beings immersed in a cosmic liturgy that aims to worship the Creator in an intense and harmonious hymn of praise. It also reveals a worldview belonging to the prayer who does not know how to see existence in three watertight, indifferent and/or rival realities. By studying the “exalted horn” through biblical and archaeological knowledge, the purpose of this article will be to highlight the truth that can never become a cliché, the one that declares how creation is viscerally interconnected. Because to disregard such an axiom is to produce a sick world, full of people fragmented in their characters, victimized by tripolar syndromes.
